  • I got under 160 pounds on my own!  I did it! I got to 155 pounds. But then the scale didn't move. At all. And I was feeling really frustrated.

Ahhhh. Up a pound?!

Yesterday's weigh-in WAS a surprise (compared to the last one, as I felt great and wasn't too bothered by the 1-pound gain). I really thought I had gotten under 140 for this week.

This is the first time I felt a tad disappointed. Good news: the increased dosage had no side effects. Bad news: the weight loss is slooowing down, as I was told it would. Michelle continued with the same dosage (and encouragement!*).

I'm focusing this week on eating well and moving. A lot more. Whether it's in the garden, a walk or higher energy workout at the Y, I feel the need - the need to speed this up! : )

Here's to staying positive and patient.

Hillary

*Weight fluctuation is normal, Michelle continues to assure me. Water weight, my cycles (which continue to be all over the place because of premenopausal stuff) and a small host of other factors contribute to it.
