Recap
I crossed the 160-pound line on the scale. I knew it was time for a change.
I got under 160 pounds on my own!  I did it! I got to 155 pounds. But then the scale didn't move. At all. And I was feeling really frustrated.

Week seventeen
I'm getting so close to 135.
I was pleasantly surprised at yesterday's weigh-in. I didn't anticipate three pounds down!
I'm feeling great; no more side effects to speak of, and I'm definitely past the infection issues.
I'm heading out for a hike in the mountains later this morning. I certainly don't mind hitting the gym regularly, but getting out into nature hits on all levels: I'm outside, hiking up and down terrain that's strenuous, it's relaxing - and even meditative.
Here's to staying healthy. Covid is making the rounds (back to school!) and I'm doing everything I can to stay germ-free. Oh - and another benefit of exercising outside? Less germs! I'm not a germaphobe, I just know what the gym is scene can be like during peaks in covid, the flu, etc.
